Memory Improvement Exercises

You might be wondering what is this memory improvement exercises all about. The exercises are not complicated but are easy. As a matter of fact, you will be amazed at how simple these exercises are, and how well they work. These techniques have a very basic principle: to build mental strength, do basic exercises repetitively. It is more like the gym routine you follow, but the only thing is all the exercises are done mentally here not physically.

Proper Nutrition

Your memory can actually be improved if you intake a healthy meal which involve healthy fats, vegetables, whole grains and so on. Evene when I was beginning I myself was clueless about how food could help you improve memory. In time, though, I learned that certain nutrients stimulate brain activity and function.

B vitamins. Foods like broccoli, strawberries, black beans, spinach, soybeans, and citrus fruits contain vitamin B.

Antioxidants. Antioxidants do a lot of things. On top of fighting free radicals, they improve oxygen flow through the brain and body. Get the antioxidants you need from sweet potatoes, blueberries, spinach, green tea, liver, citrus fruits, and seeds and nuts.

Omega-3. These helpful fatty acids have long been linked to the brain’s cognitive function. If you don’t like fish, get your dose of omega-3 in the form of a supplement!

Good Habits

The way you treat your body also does affect your memory processing power. Some ways are given below to make positive changes in improving memory power:

- Exercise regularly.
- Manage stress levels effectively.
- Get a good night’s sleep every night.
- Give up smoking.

Now you just need to work on the clues given to you, and then you will also lead a life where your forgetfulness will not affect you.
