Hawaii Vacation HomesAffordable to Luxury Home Rentals on Maui, Kauai, Big Island, Oahu, Molokai and Lanai Comments Off February 27th, 2010 Should you buy a new San Antonio TX home or an existing one? There are some wonderful new San Antonio homes on the real estate market if you’re interested in getting a bargain from the home builders. Many San Antonio builders are ready to bargain with buyers, especially if the buyer has signed a buyer’s agent who knows the deals and can advocate on behalf of the buyer. Investing in a new home makes a lot of sense for many young famiies buying a home, as opposed to buying a used home that has the potential for costing a lot of money with costly repairs and a long list of things to do after closing. With a new home purchase, buyers generally say they have a much higher satisfaction with their home purchase than those who buy existing houses. Why? There are several reasons. Buy new – it reduces your risk When you invest in a new home, there is generally less risk of getting burned by unexpected repairs because you are dealing with a reputable builder with plenty of other homes and communities in most cases. In fact, you really just need to walk down the street and get feedback from other homeowners in the community. You’ll immediately discover the the builder’s reputation, and (hopefully), the amount of confidence you can have that you’re getting a good deal. If you don’t want to have to lose sleep about a hidden but necessary repair you might need to deal with later, do yourself a favor–buy a new home. New homes are less hassle If you don’t want to have to deal with typical old-home routines like caulking bathtubs, repainting walls and ceilings, and waiting for a contingency clause to pan out (believe me, this kills a lot of deals every day), then you should consider purchasing a new home rather than a pre-existing home. Because the builder has done the process many times, chances are pretty good the transaction will go easily and quickly. With private party transactions, you are much more likely to have painful delays and costly mistakes along the way to your closing. Fortunately, you can avoid all that by buying a new San Antonio home instead. This entry was posted on Saturday, February 27th, 2010 at 4:43 amand is filed under General.
