Ok, I am currently on vacation in hawaii trying to get tan. I used sun screen with spf 50 and layed in the sun all day long, didnt work. I bought this tanning oil stuff with spf 6 called golden tan, and i put it on and i got sun burned in some areas but then that didnt work very well. I just want to get that nice summer tan and not be white. Other than home remadies is there anything I can buy or do to get me tan? Please hurry im in hawaii for 5 more days and i need stuff that will help me get tan. Please give real good advice. Thanks 3 Responses to “How do i get tan? Hurry im in hawaii and need help?” |

i don’t know where you learned about tanning, but its very simple.
tan = sun damage
sunburn = very bad sun damage
sunscreen = protects
in order to get tan, you need to get some but not too much damage. if you burned with 6, then try 10 or 15. Tan doesn’t happen overnight, if you got that much damage in one day, it would be a burn. You want to get some color but no red every day. this is very very easy in hawaii.
also, the maui **** browning lotion actually does work, if you make sure you dont burn. it keeps your skin moisturized and gets you a deeper color. buy it at the ABC store.

Each skin reacts differently to the sun. If you’re very white, you will most likely get sunburned rather than tanned. DO NOT stop applying sunscreen, because it will damage your skin, and could actually lead to skin cancer. I recommend applying tanning oil first, and once it’s dry, apply a layer of sunscreen. Good luck getting a safe tan!
