If you're very white, you will most likely get sunburned rather than tanned. DO NOT stop applying sunscreen, because it will damage your skin, and could actually lead to skin cancer. Tan doesn't happen overnight, if you got that much damage in one day, it would be a burn. You want to get some color but no red every day. this is very very easy in hawaii. also, the maui **** browning lotion actually does work, if you make sure you dont burn. it keeps your skin moisturized and gets you a deeper color. buy it at the ABC store. i don’t know where you learned about tanning, but its very simple.
