We want to stay at an all inclusive resort because its just less stressful that way to know you flight food and room are already taken care of before you leave home. I have been searching the net but can’t seem to locate an all inclusive resort in hawaii can anyone help me out with this? Thanks so MUCH! 3 Responses to “We want to go to Hawaii on vacation?” |

I have been to Hawaii several times on vacation and have never heard of an all inclusive resort. I guess it’s possible but I don’t think so.

It sounds like you’re referring to MAP Modified American Plan ~
. I asked 2 of my relatives who work as front desk managers, hotels in HI do not use MAP where meals are included.
The only one where I stayed was Hotel Hana Maui where all meals were included even a picnic lunch to take to the beach but that was awhile ago. Many hotels will pack you a picnic lunch to go. There are many great bed & breakfast on every island.

There is only one all inclusive resort in Hawaii. It is Kona Village Resort, on the island of Hawaii. Everything is included, except for drinks. You also have to make your own travel arrangements. We just spent a week there with my extended family, and it was by far the best vacation we have ever taken. You stay in your own thatched-roof hut, called a hale. All activities are included, along with equipment (snorkeling, kayaks, tennis rackets, bocce, ping pong, fishing poles, etc.) The food was excellent. The staff was incredibly friendly. The pools and private beach were nice, and uncrowded. There are giant turtles that come up on the beach in the evenings, and they shine a light on the ocean every night, which attracts plankton, which in turn attracts manta rays. An awesome sight. There are two luaus every week, and they are included – you can skip one, and go to the dining room instead, if you want. They also have a paniolo (Hawaiian cowboy) steak feed one night each week, and lots of activities for kids – lei making, grass skirt making, etc. We went in July, and my kids are still talking about it. It isn’t cheap, but you can save a little money by choosing a hale that is not ocean front. They all have something to offer. Ours was on a pond, and it turned out to be the best thing for us, because my kids had a blast fishing off our deck (catch & release). The hales have no phones t.v.’s or air conditioning, but you won’t miss any of it. The windows are actually louvered, and go all the way around, so you get a nice breeze at night. Their website is. You won’t regret it!
