What’s the best place to live in if money wasn’t a factor?

Doug B asked:

assuming ur best friend and family would move with u too
for me it would have to be san diego, san francisco, hawaii, San Jose or the O.C..great weather, great diversity, tons of places to visit, beautiful sites(obvious because thats why ppl go vacation there…and the houses prices are crazy.)

I looooooooooove music…..and am particularly fond of trance, breakbeats, DnB, EBM, etc…….. and if I *could*, I would go out and dance for 6-7 hours a night every night. And you can’t do that here. Not even in the big cities, not to consistently incredible music….. the clubs in the US close at 2 in the morning. I could dance until sunrise every day. The music makes me happy. My stresses leave me. I am content. Music is my anti-depressant.

So, if I COULD, I would go to some place renowned for that type of music….like the Netherlands, Portugal, Belgium, Germany, etc…. and just dance the rest of my life away. :)

    Great question. :)

AND also….my second choice, like yourself, would be somewhere in Southern California, but YES, housing there is atrociously priced and ridiculous for anything that’s even halfway decent.

    New York City.

Four seasons, just minutes away from beaches and mountains. Very diverse and never short on things to do

    i’ve lived everywhere, man…lalalalalala
I was born in Indiana, but have moved all over the place. I have to say that i love the BAHAMAS!!!!!

if you get to the RICH side of HAITI, Yum! but of course you mostly see the poor side, where the lepers live, thats what peeps WANT you to see..but across the street is this beautiful WHITE HOUSE, just like OUR USA white house, gorgeous!!! well kempt, ….lovely! meticulous, spotless in everyway
then walk away and you see the poor ole crippled souls crawling like spiders on the streets beggin for crumbs,
    so sad!

Bahamas, i love the clear see thru blue water. wow! the stillness in the air, the smell. mmmmmmmmmmm
